At the Garage Door Outlet, we have a team ready for our customers, meaning we are here for you when you need us. If you ever experience any problems with your new garage door after installation, we can guarantee our arrival at your property to diagnose the issue within 48 hours, along with same day arrival in the case of an emergency.

Garage Door Service

The Garage Door Outlet recommends a full garage door service every 12 to 24 months to keep your garage door in top condition. Usually priced at £95, we offer our customers a discounted price of £65 all-in.

Warranty Periods

We supply a large selection of different garage door manufacturers. Our most commonly sold manufacturer warranty periods can be found below. If you require warranty information regarding a manufacture not listed, then please send us an email or give us a call.

Manufactures we supply and install: Hormann, Garador, Teckentrup, Cardale, Novoferm, Carteck, Gliderol, SWS (SeceuroGlide), UK Doors Midlands, Somfy, Gliderol and more.

Garador

The purchaser is granted a limited warranty covering the safe and reliable function of the Garador garage door for a period of 10 years* from the date of purchase. The warranty period for replacement parts is 6 months, or to the end of the current warranty period, whichever is longer. In the case of timber and GRP garage doors, a limited warranty of 2 years is granted on the door panel alone under the terms and conditions specified herein.

The purchaser is given a 5-year guarantee from the date of purchase on the springs, wire cables, track rollers, hinges, and guide rollers of garage doors in normal use, whereby normal use constitutes no more than 5 door operations (open and close) per day.

The door mechanism and steel frame (if applicable) is covered by the 10 year limited* warranty period.

Novoferm

Up and Over, Side Hinged and Sectional Doors – What
is covered?
Novoferm garage doors offer the warranty:
• 10 Years – Safe and reliable operation (for
use up to 5 open/close cycles per day)
• 10 years – Structural integrity of door panels
• 10 years – Panel corrosion
• 10 years – retractable, sectional and side hinged doors
(2 years on canopy doors) on immovable frame parts
• 5 years – Steel Doors
• 5 years –Insulated sectional doors
• 2 years – movable and mechanical parts

(including, but not limited to, springs, rollers
wheels, locking points, rods/cables, barrel and
locking mechanisms)

Insulated Roller Door – What is covered?
Insulated roller doors offer the following warranty:
• 5 years – Motor
• 5 years – control unit
• 2 years – remote controls and accessories
(excluding batteries, bulbs and fuses)
• 5 years – lath finish
• 2 years – movable and mechanical parts

(including but not limited to locking straps and
rings, safety brake.)

UK Doors Midlands

2 year warranty on door components against manufacturing defect.
10 year warranty on textured laminated finishes.
5 year warranty on smooth painted finishes.
5 year warranty on motor and controls excluding batteries, bulbs. & handsets

Hormann

The purchaser is granted a warranty covering the safe and reliable function of the Hörmann garage door for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase. A 5 year warranty applies to springs, wire cables, track rollers, hinges, and guide rollers.

The warranty period for replacement parts is 6 months or to the end of the current warranty period, whichever is longer. In the case of foil-coated timber, a warranty of 5 years is granted, for timber and GRP doors, a warranty of 2 years is granted.
